Let's take a look at what tells us about the diversity of the world and why Türkiye is unique.
A Brief History of Türkiye
A Brief History of Türkiye The first settlements on the lands on which Türkiye was located were started in the Chipping Stone Age by societies such as Aiol, Doric and Ionians, Thracians and Persians. Then, with the rule of Alexander III, the Hellenistic period, then the Roman and Byzantine periods took place. As a result of the settlement of the Seljuks in Anatolia in the 11th century, the Turkification movement began on the lands and with the victory that came after the Battle of Malazgirt in 1071, the Byzantine superiority in Anatolia lost power in favor of the Turks. The Anatolian Seljuks, established after the fall of the Seljuks, ruled the region until the Mongol invasion in 1243. After the invasion, many small Turkish principalities were formed in Anatolia. The Ottomans, one of these principalities, became the rulers of Anatolia from the end of the 13th century. In addition, they gained great power in Eurasia and Africa, establishing a great empire with territories over Southeastern Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa. After the 17th century, the Ottoman Empire went into a period of decline. After the empire was defeated and destroyed in World War I, the Republic of Türkiye was established by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1923 as a result of the War of Independence against the occupying forces.
Culture in Türkiye
To transfer the priceless cultural heritage of these lands to the contemporary narrative and present it to the use of today's human perception, to sculpt the first statue in Göbeklitepe in the twelve thousand BCE, to draw the plan of the city where he lived in Çatalhöyük in the seven thousand on the wall of the temple, to do viticulture in the lands where the Euphrates and Tigris flow in six thousands, to obey the marriage laws written in Boğazköy in two thousands, from central Asia to north Africa to central Europe to the Arabian peninsula in the thousand and five hundred BCE. It is a very important responsibility to tell about the ancestors who brought their rich multiculturalism and 2 tolerances to every geography they visited, and to make what they produced and created accessible and understandable. The richness and diversity of the cultural heritage of modern Türkiye cannot be compressed into dates and numbers. Except for Istanbul, the number of immovable cultural assets registered is close to fifty thousand. The number of protected areas designated as protected areas is approaching eight thousand. Traces from every stage of a twelve-thousand-year-old history range fuse with one another, melting into each other and reaching to the present day.
Tourism in Türkiye
Tourism is an important tool for people to get to know different cultures, lifestyles and beliefs. In addition to its priceless cultural heritage, Türkiye has a very serious tourism potential that has drawn a graph of 7 rising in the Mediterranean Basin over the years with its unique natural values offered by its geography. In 2004, 17.5 million tourists visited our country and 15.9 billion USD revenue was generated. Our targets for 2005 are 20 million visitors and 18 Billion USD revenue. Our tourism policy, which is based on basic principles such as market diversity, product diversity, price advantage and service quality, undertakes a different mission with cultural tourism and faith tourism. These lands, where three great religions developed and spread, contain religious structures and places of worship that are very important for Islam, Christianity and Judaism, proving to the whole world that different beliefs can live together peacefully for centuries. Cultural heritage is man's stance against life in all times. It is a very important tool that centers on man, is created by man, shapes it, and can transform into good or evil in the hands of man. The people of this country, which has a culture of living in peace and tranquility with differences for thousands of years, approach the whole world and world cultures with the same tolerance and accept tolerance as the basic element of its cultural heritage.
Geography and Climate in Türkiye
Surrounded by seas on three sides (Black Sea, Aegean Sea and Mediterranean), Türkiye is the only country on earth that is both Asian, European, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean. What gives Türkiye its geographical, historical and cultural characteristics is its privileged situation, which stems from this position and is unlike any of the countries in the world. Although it is located in the geometric center of the Old World (Asia, Europe, Africa) land masses, up and down, it is also surrounded by seas. This feature of Türkiye, which is not found in other countries, has made it very easy for our country to establish relations with the outside world. In addition, Türkiye has many advantages in the Northern Hemisphere, which are due to the fact that it is located somewhere on average between the equator and the pole. Until the beginning of the New Age, when great sea routes were discovered (the Cape of Good Hope), the roads connecting the Far East to the Mediterranean world and Europe mainly passed through Anatolia. The fact that Anatolia has trade centers and cultural centers that have maintained their importance for centuries is thanks to these east-west trade routes that cross the country. The fact that the sea route related to the existence of the Straits, which connects the Mediterranean world to the Black Sea world, intersects here with roughly east-west oriented roads is also a situation that is not encountered in other countries. There is no other country that is at such an important crossroads. Although Türkiye is located in the middle climate (temperate climate) zone, it is a country with unexpected variations in its climate. It can be seen that the thermometer has fallen to -45.6 oC (in Ağrı on 20 January 1972) and up to 48.5 oC (in Dalaman on 19 July 1973), and it is not possible to see a very large difference of 94.1 °C between these two figures in other countries, within the borders of the same country. This climate difference allows skiing on one side of the country and sea sports in another region, on the same days.
Why Türkiye ?
Interest in the country increased as legal changes made in 2018 made it easier to own a home. In 2018, foreigners invested $4.1 billion in housing and real estate in Türkiye, which is the focus of investors, with housing prices increasing by an average of 18 percent annually. This figure rises to $4.3 billion when service sales are included. The pearl of the Aegean, Izmir, is at the top of the list as the most desirable place to live in Türkiye.

Affordable Property Prices
Türkiye's real estate market was late to enter the international platform. So, the prices of homes attract expats and foreign nationals from many different countries. While luxury properties are available, small coastal towns offer 2-BHK fully furnished apartments for as low as $ 250.000
